They can't get a look inside your head if you choose not to speak. Power players know this and they stay perfectly silent when the situation requires it. Through we all know that silence is the ultimate weapon of power, most of us find it impossible to keep our mouth closed. We have good intentions : we think we'll simply sit there and listen or we'll say one or two ( important ) things. But yet there is no halfway house of silence. You either stay silent or you don't. If there really is nothing to say, power players don't create a reason to speak. They keep their mouth shut and they let others spend time trying to guess what's going on inside their head.
