In the daily life, when we brush our teeth: you can save water by just turning off the tap while brushing to avoid running water. If you have a washmachine, try using it only if there is a full load.
Saving elecricity also brings saving money, so in order to achieve both of these: turn off the light in a room that isn't used by anyone or it's on standby.
Plastic bags, usually degrades(deteriorate chemically) for a long time, which damages the environment. Having a cloth bag(which you can use multiple times), instead of the plastic one, which you can use a few times, due to it's durability. Don't pay attention to the price of a cloth bag over a plastic one - cloth bag costs more due to the material, where the plastic one is cheaper cause it's made from plastic and plastic costs cents.
