Vanessa Horrocks was watching TV in her apartment when she heard a strange noise in the bathroom. She went to check. She had a terrible shock when she saw a two-metre-long python in the toilet. „The snake was trying to get out of the toilet” she told our reporter '' so I ran out of the bathroom because I certainly didn't want to try and catch it. Then I called Fred, our building manager. He arrived quite quickly. He caught the snake and took it away". Vanessa still feels nervous when she uses the bathroom. "And I always put the toilet lid down now", she said. Building manager Fred Murray told us: ":Pet pythons sometimes escape and live in the water system of large apartament blocks. We are looking for the python's owner now. At the moment it lives in a cage in my flat but it grows very fast".
