social media is everywhere. it's very popular among teens, because they get to meet new people based on the same interests. on social media apps you can usually post pictures, videos or your thoughts. but it can be very damaging, too.
social media can sometimes make us compare to someone else. for example, you might be jealous of someone's life because you just saw their photo with their friends. it may damage your self esteem and self image.
but as any other thing, it has benefits too. you can meet new people and socialize more. teens always want more friends, and social media can be used for that too.
