I've heard many friendships started from team sports, and I myself have a good friend whom I met in a team sport game.
2 Discretion is essential in maintaining friendships.
The reason I believe so, is because without discretion, you won't be able to keep your friends' secrets and weaknesses. So, you cannot be a real friend, if you have no discretion in your friendship.
