From my personal point of view i think this statment is true.
Nowdays getting information online is extreamly easy, finding informations about whatever you want is simple and easy as opposite for the old ways when u had to do your own research for sometimes even days searching in books from your house or the library.
But with great power comes great responsibility and we have to take in account that not every information we find online might be true so we have to make sure we educate ourself from respected and trusted sources online.
Nowdays when u search for something on the internet you are hit whit thousands and thousands of sites that might not have what is corect and you desire.
So, from my standpoint, gettign information off the internet as a newbie might be extremly painful as u might be hit biased information and my simple sugestion for you is to stick whit the internet only when u need simple informations like: "What is a noun", "What is adverb" and keep searching valuable informations from books.
